Villa in the hills
In the hills of Veneto, a contemporary two-family residence blends harmoniously into the landscape, following the natural morphology of the land. The compact and measured architectural structure is unified by a continuous roof with large overhangs that envelops the two residential units, creating a coherent image that is strongly integrated into the natural context.
The use of the cold-formed steel construction system developed by Ottagono was crucial to the success of the project. Its versatility gave Azarchitetti’s designers a high degree of compositional freedom and great flexibility in execution, making it possible to create complex volumetric articulations and significant roof overhangs without compromising structural efficiency and formal balance.
